Blackbox Terminal is notarized and codesigned by Apple. It is safe to open and will not trigger macOS security warnings.

Installation

Download the DMG

Click Download DMG above to download BlackboxTerminal-NOTARIZED.dmg.

Open the DMG

Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it. A Finder window will open.

Drag to Applications

Drag the Blackbox Terminal icon into the Applications folder shortcut in the Finder window.

Launch Blackbox Terminal

Open Launchpad or Applications and click Blackbox Terminal to launch it.
On first launch, macOS may show a prompt confirming you want to open the app. Click Open — the app is Apple-notarized and safe.

Blackbox AI CLI is ready

On first launch, Blackbox Terminal automatically checks for the Blackbox AI CLI. If it isn’t installed yet, it will install it for you live in the terminal — no extra steps needed.

Getting Started After Install

Once Blackbox Terminal is open, you can immediately start using the Blackbox AI CLI:
