Search for public repositories by name directly from the UI, fork them instantly, and start working on them by assigning tasks to agents just as you would with your own repositories. Agents operate identically on forked repos, enabling full development workflows including code modifications, testing, and pull request generation.

Setup Process

To work with public repositories, follow these steps:
  1. Access Blackbox Cloud
    Navigate to cloud.blackbox.ai and log in using your Google or GitHub account.
  2. Search for Public Repositories
    Use the search functionality to find public repositories by name. The interface provides a streamlined way to discover and select open-source projects.     Search Public Repos
  3. Fork the Repository
    Click the fork button to create a fork of the selected public repository directly from the Blackbox Cloud UI. This creates a copy under your GitHub account for development.     Fork Public Repo
  4. Assign Tasks to Agents
    Once forked, assign tasks to agents just as you would with your own repositories. Specify the forked repository, branch, and task details for the agent to execute.     Assign Task on Forked Repo
